Sweet for ArcGIS Hosting Changes (ArcGIS Online only)

Esri UK are moving the hosting of Sweet for ArcGIS to a new Esri UK Managed Service environment. This move aligns with our ethos of consistently keeping to best practice with the Sweet for ArcGIS architecture. It also has the added benefit of improving our URLs! This change only impacts users using the ArcGIS Online version of Sweet and Phase 1 Habitat Survey, users on Enterprise are not impacted.

We have made the process for migrating to the new environment as simple as possible by adding in a migration wizard into the latest release of Sweet. The migration wizard will be made available on the 7th December, and will appear at the top of the Builder application (see below). We encourage all customers to have completed their migration by the 28th of February 2023.

Start by clicking Begin Migration and the wizard will open.

Select the applications, templates and themes you wish to migrate and click OK – everything will now be available in the new environment.

To check this, navigate to https://www.sweet.esriuk.com/ and open the builder to find your migrated applications. To test this workflow, you might like to make a copy of your application and migrate that first, to ensure you are comfortable with the process before migrating your live apps.

Please note that all of your Sweet applications will now have updated URLs, and any links you may have shared to your applications in the past will no longer work.

If you’re using Sweet on iOS, Windows or Android please ensure you are using the latest version, and once you have migrated you will need to log out and back into the app.
