UPDATED! - UK Data Loader version 4.2.1 now available

UPDATE

An updated version (version 4.2.1) is now available.

This has fixed an issue we spotted in internal QA with Highways Networks where an urban area polygon was used in conjunction with the data

UK Data Loader 4.2

The latest release includes the bug fixes and enhancements below:

  • General

    • You are now able to specify scratch workspace location

    • You are now able to set CONFIG keywords when loading data

  • OS Highways

    • A fix to allow network creation where there are no mandatory turns in the data

    • Some Paths were not connecting correctly to the road network

    • Truncated TOIDs – in a small number tables the TOIDs were being truncated where the raw data contained ‘osgb’ in the value

    • Vetting added to ensure you cannot choose an empty source data location

  • OS AddressBase

    • You are now able to process zipped or unzipped files supplied by the OS

  • OS MasterMap Topography Layer

    • Fix to ensure that spatial indexes are recalculated after a load is complete. This previously could cause performance issues after large datasets were loaded as SQL server was not automatically recalculating the spatial extent of the data.
